Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A few years ago, I took a watercolor class and became enamored with the medium and the process. How marvelous to put a spot of paint on paper, let it run, flow, and blend in an organic manner and then learn how I can gently guide the colors into some kind of form! Experienced artists keep saying that watercolor is one of the most difficult medium’s to work with, and I have to agree! However, I’m enjoying the challenge and love creating nature-centered and vividly-colored paintings. In 2016, my painting entitled “Home” was accepted into the 25th Annual Colorado Watercolor Society State...
